A question posed – “If you lose everything will you still have your faith?”
We can’t love in our strength – we will fail. Putting our faith in Jesus Christ is what we need to do. Our faith in Christ is a) Loving Christ first, b) love the brethren and then we can c) love the world. When we are led by the Spirit we will show the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.
We come together to celebrate God – He gives us the inspiration and restoration.
In Isaiah 40, Isaiah takes the people to task for being without hope when their spirit is under affliction. We are to be human beings NOT human doings. This passage was written to inspire and arouse God’s people to have emotion – to be and not to do.
